Richard Hickox and the London Symphony Orchestra’s acclaimed recording of Verdi’s Requiem is available as a limited edition at only £7.99. This was unique at release for being the only complete digital recording available on one CD.
The recording is accompanied by the 2007 CHANDOS CD catalogue which is presented in four colour. This comprehensive catalogue takes the collector through the Chandos collection in a user-friendly manner and is printed in handy CD size.
This is an impressive recording, with well-balanced sound of extraordinary clarity, and plenty of aural impact... an impressive performance.

Thanks are due to Chandos for getting the Verdi Requiem on to one CD. Hickox conducts a typically vital reading, magnificently recorded.
