the venue of the Duisburg Philharmonic, the Philharmonic Mercatorhalle, 2009 received a new concert organ in an English late-Romantic style, inspired by the English Town Hall organs of the time. Here is the first solo album is presented in the new instrument, the organ Roland Maria Stangier. 

Whereas most people bring the sound of an organ first with a church instrument in conjunction, the organ looks well on a long tradition as a concert instrument back. These instruments are characterized by an enormous range of dynamics and tone colors. Also characteristic is a richly-featured, powerful and bulky sounding pedal mechanism. 

using the versatile program with known original works for organ and also, for the flowering time of these instruments in the 19th Century, so typical, transcriptions of orchestral works, complemented by some improvisations, the possibilities of the instrument perfectly illuminates and promises a listening experience of a special kind
