About
In one of Glossa’s most important recordings of the early years, soprano Rossana Bertini and countertenor Claudio Cavina visit some of the beautiful chamber duets composed by Agostino Steffani, that Italian composer, ecclesiastic and diplomat who spent a big part of his life in Germany. Supported by a varied continuo ensemble featuring Mara Galassi on harp, Juan Manuel Quintana on viola da gamba, Dolores Costoyas on theorbo and Attilio Cremonesi on harpsichord, the result is fascinating.
