About
The Stadler Trio is the second of the ensembles created by the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century’s principal clarinet player, Eric Hoeprich, apart from Nachtmusique. Here joined by the late Carles Riera and Alf Horberg on a 1996 recording which took place in one of Glossa’s main recording venues in the 1990s and early 2000s, the Iglesia de San Miguel in Cuenca, Hoeprich and his colleagues perform three Mozart Divertimenti for this ensemble configuration, plus a moving Harmoniemusik version of three numbers of Le nozze di Figaro. A delightful album.
