Hazel Brooks and David Pollock have been performing together for over fifteen years. They have a shared passion for performing baroque repertoire and bringing it to a wider audience. The duo has been praised for its dynamic presentation of a wide spectrum of music, from established classics to the almost completely unknown. Both are fascinated by the historical background of the music and by the process of turning dusty old manuscripts into living performances. Particularly interested in lesser-known composers of the English baroque, they have previously released various recordings of music in this area, including the violin sonatas of William Croft and Daniel Purcell.
